A few weeks ago we were happy to collaborate with Ballet In The City and their resident photographer Alexis Ziemski for a special photo shoot!  Two lucky Ballet In The City Ambassadors were outfitted with some awesome DanceWear Corner merchandise and hit the city for a great modeling session.  We caught up with ambassador, Gabby Morando, to hear a little about her experience shooting for DanceWear Corner.

I was thrilled to be invited to do this project, and I absolutely LOVED having the opportunity to pose in such beautiful dancewear in the most fun locations!  Alexis is so amazing to work with, and her photos always turn out looking like art.  Modeling gorgeous dance clothes and posing in pointe shoes on a college campus and in front of a crowded Starbucks was surreal and awesome.

Dancewear Corner provided me with beautiful leotards, tights, and a skirt for the photo shoot, as well as a wonderfully soft DWC logo tank top that I have been wearing a lot since then.  The clothing was really comfortable, fit me perfectly, and looked great in the pictures.  I love the long lace sleeves and color of the navy leo, and the gray one has such a pretty strappy back.

Learning to pose for photographs is all part of being a dancer, and this experience really taught me a lot.  I’m so lucky to have these photos to use as part of my portfolio, too.  It’s so exciting to see myself in social media posts for Dancewear Corner and Ballet in the City!

I would be sooooo happy to be able to do more collaborations like this!! It was a great privilege to represent Dancewear Corner and Ballet in the City in this way, and I would be so honored to do it again.  Thank you so much for choosing me for this project!
